A collection of photographs by Stephen Gill, a photographer from Bristol, England. The large-scale riots that occurred in August 2011 were triggered by the shooting of a black man in northern London by police officers, and the effects of the attack spread not only to London but to other parts of England. This book was taken by Gil and photographed of a stone block thrown by mobs during the riots in Hackney, London. A thin booklet printed on newsprint with the edges flat-stitched. Includes text by Iain Sinclair, writer and film director. Signed.
