A collection of architectural photographs taken by photographer Yutaka Takanashi from 1986 to 1988, mainly from the Great Kanto Earthquake to the early Showa period. Contains 40 items such as Kanda / Hijiribashi, Asakusa / Former Fujikan, Kanda / Subway Arcade, and Subway Ginza Asakusa Station. The textures of various materials, such as brick, iron, glass, wood, and mortar, are mellowly raised by long exposures at night. The large-sized version further enhances the charm of these buildings. A luxurious photo book that begins with a poem by Ryuichi Tamura (1923-1998) and ends with the postscript of Iwao Matsuyama. First edition, signed copy.
