A collection of Singapore-born, Hong Kong-based photographers Lee Fook Chee (1927-2012) in the 1950s. He moved to Hong Kong as an immigrant from 1947, and from 1948 to 1955 the following year he worked as a professional photographer at Victoria Peak (The Peak) on Hong Kong Island, where he photographed Hong Kong's famous landscapes and streets. Was sold to tourists to make a living. However, with the gradual spread of color photography, his black-and-white photographs became unsold, and he was forced to take a temporary leave of absence. After that, he went down the mountain after the 1960s and ran a grocery store with his wife. Around 2003, Lee made a comeback in the mountains again. A chance encounter with photographer Edward Stokes in 2010 surfaced a plan to publish the book, but unfortunately he died without seeing the book's completion. In a sense, it's a life like Katsumi Watanabe (1941-2016), who was called the "nagashi photographer" in Japan.
