Suzuki Kiyoshi (1943-2000) is known as a photographer who continued to explore the possibilities of the photobook medium in a unique way. He started out as a photographer in the late 1960s, and published only eight photobooks in his approximately thirty years of photography. This is his second photobook. It is composed of monochrome photographs taken in Hindu holy sites in India, such as Rishikesh, Varanasi, and Mahabalipuram. Suzuki states that in the sacred and majestic Indian nature, his interest shifted deeper into the chaos and infinity of India.
