Fuji, one of the sacred mountains of Japan. This book contains landscape photographs of Mt. Fuji in the Meiji period. The photograph was taken by Kikusui Imao, a Kyoto photographer and researcher of fine art photography. He is the nephew of Imao Keinen, a Japanese painter of the Shijo school. Kikusui received a job request from the publisher, Jitsugyo-no-Nipponsha, loaded more than 100 dry plates and several cameras on the horse's back, and left Koshu and Otsuki with a guide ahead. It is said that he went around the foot of Mt. The order of landscape photographs with Mt. Fuji as the subject is arranged so that they start from Tokaido Fuji Station, pass through Sagami-Kai, go around the foot of Mt. Fuji, and return to Miho on the Tokaido. You may be able to feel the same visual experience as the photographer of the time through the photo book. The book is designed by Ryushi Kawabata (under the name of Shotaro Kawabata, her real name in this book). In addition, the multi-colored woodblock print of 100 views of Mt.
