This is the first photo book of Hiroh Kikai, a photographer who gathers in the precincts of Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, and captures the faces of various people who are scattered. It is the first collection of works in the "Asakusa Portraits" series, and is also the winner of the 13th Ina Nobuo Award in 1988. The composition is Ms. Koko Yamagishi, the late wife of Shoji Yamagishi, a photo director.
