A photo collection of Issei Suda (1940-2019), an Edo native born in Kanda. This is Suda's first photo collection compiled into a book. From December 1975, he serialized ``Fushikaden'' in Camera Mainichi for two years, and began his own trajectory as a writer. In this book, Mr. Suda, who was born and raised in Tokyo, appears in photographs of ordinary people from all over Tokyo. The layout with a square format and a margin at the bottom may be refreshing. In producing this collection, Jun Miki (1919-1992) and Jun Morinaga (1937-2018) were in charge of selecting the works, and Yusaku Kamekura (1915-1997) was in charge of the final editing layout. It looks so luxurious now. Incidentally, the purpose of the Nikon Salon Books series was to publish books that would be recognized as valuable materials that would contribute to the photography world in the future, even if the content was commercially difficult.
