In 2003, photographer Eriko Koga happened to meet an elderly couple, Zen and Hana, at the Sanja Festival in Asakusa. Captivated by something that cannot be put into words, the photographer spent six years photographing their daily lives. The look and atmosphere that only a married couple can express, and the relationship of trust that has been built over many years, are clearly conveyed through the photographs. Twenty years have passed since they met, but the old couple is no longer in this world.
