Kyoichi Tsuzuki was born in Tokyo in 1956. From 1976 to 1986, he was mainly in charge of articles on contemporary art, architecture, design and urban life in magazines such as Popeye and Brutus. From 1989 to 1992, he published "Art Random", a complete collection of 102 volumes of contemporary art that comprehensively covers the trends of contemporary art in the world in the 1980s. He has been writing and editing in various fields since then. This book is a collection of realistic rooms in Tokyo in the early 1990s. Instead of the beautiful and stylish Japanese space that appears in thick interior magazines, there is a "Tokyo style" where real Japanese people actually live. There is a remote control on the kotatsu, and books are piled up next to the cushion. Anyone who lived in this era should feel nostalgic.
