The fashion brand KENZO was founded by Kenzo Takada (1939-2020) and has a history of over 50 years as a fashion house based in Paris. This book is the first monograph about the brand. At the time of its publication, it was under the direction of artistic director Antonio Marras, whose achievements brought the KENZO brand back to life and once again earned critical acclaim. The book also includes highlights from Takada's tenure until his retirement in 1999. The cover is decorated with KENZO's realistic fabric cover, which can be selected from three different patterns, and has a pop-up page reminiscent of romantic textiles, envelopes, and paper crafts known for the invitations of the Maison's collection.
