A collection of photographs taken by Joel Meyerowitz, a photographer representing the new color, of the atelier of Giorgio Morandi, a painter known for Italian still life paintings. Many artists have visited his atelier, but Meyerowitz quietly interacted with more than 250 objects painted by Morandi by looking at them and touching them, creating works that are both objects and portraits. The markings drawn to set the position of the subject leave a faint hint that Morandi was there.
