The Pol Pot faction, which came to power in Cambodia in 1975, forced urban residents and intellectuals to migrate to rural areas under extreme Communist thought, forcing people to work hard. Furthermore, massacres such as torture and executions were carried out. Yoshino Oishi, a freelance documentary photographer and a leading photojournalist, accuses photographers of the scars that have occurred during the four years of this tragedy in Cambodia. In July 1980, she visited Cambodia after the Pol Pot administration fled, and walked a total of 4,200 kilometers for 40 days centered around Phnom Penh. The preface is Kenzaburo Oe, a Nobel Prize winner. Signed by the author.
