A photo collection by photographer Tadahiko Hayashi (1918-1990), who photographed Tokyo in 1946, shortly after the war. It gives us a glimpse of what city dwellers were like at the time. An editorial design with photos at the top of the page and world events arranged in chronological order at the bottom. Also includes portraits of Buraiha writers such as Sakunosuke Oda, Ango Sakaguchi, and Osamu Dazai. The text by Junnosuke Yoshiyuki at the end of the book is very interesting as he talks about that era from the perspective of a living witness.
