Japanese photographer Ken OHara who lived in New York at the time, took portraits of men and women of all ages in this city, which is said to be the "melting pot of races," and made it into a single photo book. Five hundred faces are lined up on the entire 500 pages, including the cover. African-Americans, caucasians, orientals, and other minorities, people with different eyes, ears, noses, mouths, and skin colors look straight at us, and this magnificent photobook is a photobook that readers should see. It reverses and falls into a mysterious relationship in which they stare at the reader in the photobook. Every page of a thick book has eyes and a mouth in the same place, so it's weird that the part that identifies a person should be visible, but the individuality is diluted. A leaflet for the "ONE Exhibition" held on the 1st floor of the Ginza Sony Building at the time of publication is also included.
